Stanley Park Visions
Since 1980 the Vancouver-based ecology organization, Lifeforce, has been fighting to protect Stanley Park from further zoo and aqauarium expansions.
The Vancouver Aquarium is moving ahead on an $80 million expansion that will include more dolphins, river otters, beaver and sea birds.
Stanley Park has a diversity of wildlife living freely in the park - there is no justification in keeping animals in aqauarium prisons.
