A Very Merry Humpback Playing With Log

On December 2nd, as Christmas time approached, Lifeforce Ocean Friends found a four year old humpback playing with a log off Comox Harbour, BC. View A Very Merry Humpback Playing With Log: https “Logging is a term referring to when whales and dolphins are resting by floating on the water. This rare type of “play logging” ads to our knowledge of their complex lives,” stated Peter Hamilton, Lifeforce Ocean Friends Director, “I watched her repeatedly going back and forth diving with the large log, floating with it, lifting it onto her head and actively playing with it. Her playtime lasted for over 45 minutes. Then she joined two other humpbacks.”
